In depth

Verdict

CAPTAIN JAMESON showed major improvement when placed at Carlisle and gets a speculative vote in a tricky opener. The Great Dandini has similar form having finished a lot closer at Salisbury recently while Charnock Richard is now rated 83 after finishing seventh behind higher rated horses in a valuable sales race at York. Mont Kinabalu ran much better on an earlier debut at Ayr than he did at Doncaster last time and it would be no surprise if Twelve A posts an improved effort with last month’s debut at Carlisle under his belt.
