An interesting bumper to end the day's proceedings at Catterick with Bayside and Tous Chez probably having the best form of those to have raced previously but this may go to one of the newcomers with Makeabreak marginally preferred to Scotmail. The last mentioned is a son of Old Vic and represents the powerful stable of Howard Johnson that is quite capable of producing one to win first time out. He has to be respected. Sue Smith's Tous Chez found just Stagecoach Diamond too good on his debut over course and distance and has an obvious chance on that evidence, on which he holds High Window, although this looks a slightly better race. Keith Reveley's Bayside ran promisingly in what was probably a better race than this at Newbury on his debut but has yet to prove his stamina. A market move for Mick Easterby's Saucy King would be of interest and he is another worthy of consideration. Thegeordieduchess has the beating of Burns Belle on running at Newcastle last month and is another to consider but the vote goes to Makeabreak. Richard Fahey has a good strike rate with his bumper horses first time out and this six-year-old make plenty of appeal being a daughter of Anshan out of a Darshaan mare. Makeabreak is taken to make a winning debut.
