Tahiti Pearl is just 1lb higher than when scoring at Sedgefield in August though that was on very fast ground but Duke Of Malfi has a good strike-rate over fences and will have come on for a recent run at Kelso. Karingreason was well beaten in this last year and appears to need further but it's rare for Ferdy Murphy to run a four-year-old over fences so Ibn Hayyan should be respected with his low weight. Dual winning hurdler SURF AND TURF will have come on for his debut over fences at Bangor and gets the vote here as he looks the type to do well over the bigger obstacles this season. It's about time Otto Quercus was winning over jumps and he's quite well handicapped on his best form.
