In depth

Verdict

Brain Washed caught the eye last time and looks the one to be with here at the main expense of Five Years On and One Upmanship. The selection ran really well when second behind Rampage at Newcastle last time and there still looks to be plenty of improvement to come from this lightly-raced filly so it should pay to stay on the right side of her. Five Years On is clearly well-regarded as he went off as the warm favourite at Southwell when last seen out in December, but he never got out first gear that day and finished last. Although he will be interesting if the market speaks in his favour, he is probably best watched on this occasion. One Upmanship was staying on strongly at the finish at Warwick last time behind Innclassic, so the step up in trip could bring about some further improvement. However, Brain Washed sets a fair standard here and is taken to lead them home.
