In depth

Verdict

ARNOLD is the choice here off topweight but a word of warning in that he was due to run at Beverley on Thursday afternoon too. He has looked an improved sprinter on recent starts and has the ability to outspeed this relatively modest field if he can obtain a good early position. Crosse Fire would be the choice if the selection fails to show as he's running consistently well in general similar contests and his chance is strengthened by the 7lb claim of Theodore Ladd, who continues to catch the eye in the saddle. The combination went close here the last day when just reeled in by Extrasolar and this drop to the minimum trip should suit. The consistent pair of Life For Rent and Imperial Legend have place claims.
