Verdict

Lightening Rod has a strike-rate of five victories from 13 career starts including a jumpers' bumper at Southwell last time. He makes his chasing debut here and there's no reason why he shouldn't do equally as well in this sphere. Catch Bob looks a typical slow-burner from his yard. A winner between the flags and successful twice over timber, he fell on his chasing bow at Haydock but showed there are races to be won with him with a fair effort behind Benny Be Good at Sedgefield. Quo Video won three times over timber early last year but ran poorly on his chasing debut at Southwell though the 3m1f trip was stretching his stamina. NAFATH hasn't had much experience but is looking a nice prospect after an excellent chasing debut at Ayr when just touched off by Wind Shuffle. He would have won but for a bad mistake five out and can gain compensation providing his jumping holds together.
