Verdict

HYPNOSIS is our selection with Mey Blossom and Lucky Numbers likely to give her plenty to think about. There was a little bit of money around for Noel Wilson's mare at Doncaster ahead of her most recent outing so clearly she has been showing positive signs at home. If she can ping the gate again today, she is in a perfect position to make it count. Mey Blossom has been progressive throughout the season and if the handicapper has not caught her up; she comes here with another solid chance. Lucky Numbers finished second in a true run sprint at Pontefract last Friday and on that evidence, his turn isn't that far away. Le Toreador has taken on better opposition than this in the past and is finally starting to come down the weights. Mullglen is just 1lb higher than his last winning mark whilst the booking of Franny Norton aboard Wicked Wilma seems to be one of the more interesting among the rest. Hypnosis has a little to prove on recent racecourse evidence but conditions seem to be very much in her favour this afternoon.
