        Verdict

        MOHAWK RIDGE had beaten Graceful Descent at Newcastle before following up at Musselburgh last time. Michael Dods has found him a good opportunity here and a hat-trick looks on the cards. Villa Royale is a threat if back to her best after a modest comeback effort at Thirsk when Tinseltown finished ahead of her in fourth. Royal Sea has a recent placed effort on the Polytrack to his credit but Pertuis is preferred as this looks easier than his latest task at Pontefract where he finished third.
