    Verdict

English Summer comes out best at the weights but this will be his first run since September. Samoan has little chance, but there's little between the remainder on today's terms. Spanish Plume returned an easy winner at Wolverhampton last time while Ever Fortune won over 1m2f at Pontefract last month. Lingfield winner Incendo is better on the Polytrack nowadays and Ethics Girl is looking to end a long losing run. GRAN MAESTRO has been running well in handicaps without success and Ruth Carr's charge gets the tentative vote having gone close in similar company over track and trip last season.
