      Verdict

Cyril landed a double over a shorter trip in July but is now 8lb higher than his latest win while Classic Villager bids for a hat-trick off a 4lb higher mark after a narrow-margin victory at Thirsk. Plane Song will need to improve having finished a well beaten fourth at Ascot on his handicap debut and Multellie steps up in class after winning easily at Ripon recently. TRIPLE DIP (NAP) won the last time he competed in this grade and went close in a tougher handicap at Ascot last time. Mark Johnston's charge can come out best with a similar effort in this.
