In depth

Verdict

PERFECT BALANCE (NAP) landed the odds with the minimum of fuss when scoring easily in novice company over track and trip. The Godolphin colt can continue winning ways now handicapping for the first time and is preferred to another handicap debutant in Victorious Night. The latter went close in a maiden at Carlisle while Crown Princess just missed out at Beverley last time. Dark Zeas returns to the Turf after placing at Wolverhampton and makes more appeal than Pockley and Action Hero.
