In depth

Verdict

The penalised pair of Extreme Force and Guena Des Mottes are both highly respected in quite a competitive juvenile hurdle with the former already boasting a course and distance victory and the latter, a winner in France, looking to secure a clear round after falling on his debut for Ben Pauling. BLACK ABBEY has also shown more than enough in two starts to suggest a win in a contest such as this is within his range and he makes appeal in receipt of 6lb from the top two. Earl Of Harrow makes his hurdling bow after a very successful Flat campaign for Mick Channon last year, whilst Ragnar, also useful on the level for Roger Charlton, is interesting for the Hobbs team.
