    Verdict

DALGIG should be opening his account in this company. He's stepping up in distance after a fourth to Space Ship in a better maiden than this at Chester and Jamie Osborne's colt looks the one to beat on that form. He's rated much higher on official figures than Hawk High, though the latter may have improved since finishing second at Redcar in November, while King's Request is a rare runner here for his powerful yard but has shown little so far. Fridaynight Girl could get involved on her debut and is worth noting in the betting.
