RAVENHOE finished well ahead of Secret Lightning when scoring at Wolverhampton earlier and went in again at Lingfield just four days ago. He escapes a penalty having won an apprentices’ race and is preferred to Sevilla. The latter was placed in amateur company at Wolverhampton last time but Just Fred scored over course and distance on his penultimate start and makes more appeal. Joyful Dream has yet to win in 21 outings but Outlaw Torn pops-up when the mood takes him.
