        Verdict

        Most of these can be given a chance with only a tentative vote going to PATRICK. Below par in soft ground at the Curragh last time, he was placed in tougher sprints than this earlier in the year. Munfallet won at Leicester last time with Borough Boy back in fourth but steps up a grade along with last month’s course and distance winner Merhoob, who was well ahead of Penny Dreadful on that occasion. Gentlemen had earlier beaten Burning Blaze at Kempton but refused to race over track and trip last time when Crosse Fire was second to Hoofalong in what ended up a match. Under Siege won here in October but is 10lb higher today.
