Verdict

Voice Of Truth was a 1/5 chance at Newcastle after running the useful Grecian Light close on her debut at Newmarket but found little when push came to shove. She may not be entirely straightforward and could be worth opposing again here. ASAAS is tried in blinkers after failing to justify favouritism at Newbury in July but still finished ahead of Thaaqib, who runs in the first division, so that one's run should be monitored - Roger Varian's colt gets another chance. Dutch Quality wasn't given a hard time when third at Kempton last month and is probably capable of better. Magdalene Fox was well behind that day and looks held. Cliffs Of Capri has a decent pedigree and looks the pick of the three newcomers.
