Verdict

VOLTURNUS stole a march on his rivals a couple of furlongs from home when making all for an easy success over a similar trip here last week. He can go in again with Jamie Spencer keeping the winning partnership intact. Navajo Star went close over 2m at Newcastle recently but found the selection too good in November while Miss Dusky Diva has also been placed over the same trip of late. Koubba is one of the least exposed, despite his age, and could also go well.
