      Verdict

      Full Authority has plenty of scope to improve but will need to upped in class after going close at Kempton. Extrodinair also faces tougher opposition having landed a double over 7f here while Merhoob hasn’t raced since February but is not badly treated on his winning form and is preferred to Alemaratalyoum. Shimmering Dawn went close in last year’s renewal though is 5lb higher today and the veteran TROPICS (NAP) may prove the one to side with. He saves his best for this track having won five of only 11 visits including off a higher mark last season and Dean Ivory’s charge will appreciate this return to the all-weather having only raced on Turf so far this year.
