In depth

Verdict

The veteran Giant Sequoia gained his fifth Polytrack victory here three weeks ago though that was over an extended 1m5f and he rarely runs over a trip this short nowadays. SAIL HOME hasn't won for over two years but continues to run well and this looks her chance to put matters right. She ran her best race for some time at Kempton a fortnight ago and Shelley Birkett has ridden her to victory in the past. Stuart Williams tries the lightly-raced Pouncing Tiger in a visor and he was staying on over a mile last time but Monsieur Chabal, though consistent enough, is still a maiden after a dozen starts on the all-weather. Baileys En Premier is also without a victory but recent runs give him a chance in this moderate contest.
