Verdict

SIMPSON was only caught inside the final furlong at Leicester on his debut and can go one better with normal progress. Ed Walker’s colt is taken to improve past the more-exposed Central City, who was expected to finish closer at Nottingham last time. Amazing Alice posted her best effort by far when second on the all-weather at Lingfield last month and may prove best of the remainder unless one of the newcomers is above average.
