    Verdict

ZABENZ comes from a yard in form and is taken to win at the expense of Kingscliff and Mr Ed. The selection won two point to points before running in this years Grand National. That was a huge step up in grade, however he failed to complete falling at the water jump. He is rated as high as 140 on official ratings so if this was a handicap he would be giving lumps of weight all round. This makes him potentially very well in and if he can recapture his best form he ought to go close. Kingscliff was at one time a Gold Cup contender but his form dramatically dwindled soon after. He has now found a happy medium winning a few point to points down in the west country and it will be interesting to see how he fairs now back under rules. Mr Ed is another one time useful chaser and was back in the winners enclosure at Exeter in March. He unseated his rider when sent off even money favourite last time out but has to be respected once again.
