Verdict

Next Sensation beat Eastlake in the Grand Annual here in March with Astracad and Bold Henry among the also-rans. The first pair are staring to come down the weights again but Astracad was behind Keel Haul, PEARLS LEGEND and Going Concern here last month. John Spearing's charge looks the pick of the weights today and gets the nod, though he wouldn't want to get involved in a battle for the lead with the free-going Next Sensation. Ulck Du Lin is an Ascot specialist and Parsnip Pete has never sparkled around here and prefers faster going. Cold March holds Workbench on the form book and should be thereabouts, however.
