In depth

Verdict

Baodai gets the call over Milord Lescribaa, with Wolf Creek and The Roney Man in with a shout as well. Jockeyship will play an important part here, and in Josh Guerriero, Baodai has a competent partner. The pair finished a place behind Milord Lescribaa in the race won by Mister Apple's here last time, but can renew rivalry on slightly better terms, and should just about turn the tables. So impressive at Bangor the time before, the Hobbs five-year-old is taken to lay it down to his older rivals and come out on top. Wolf Creek has to be mentioned, but he may find conditions too lively, and The Roney Man should definitely be watched in the market, but preference is much for Baodai.
