Verdict

A Hare Breath last ran over fences in the 2017 Arkle so is probably best watched on his reappearance. Rock On Rocky is slipping down the weights but weakened quickly last time at Ascot and was only fourth in this last year behind DOITFORTHEVILLAGE (NAP). Shanahan's Turn was also unplaced 12 months ago behind Paul Henderson’s charge, who is only 2lb higher and fancied to stage a repeat. Bun Doran failed to win last season but he’s run well on both previous starts here so can’t be ignored but Peppay Le Pugh is raised in class and racing from out of the handicap and though Movie Legend is back on a winning mark, his comeback win came over hurdles and he’s been pulled up the last twice over fences.
