Verdict

That'lldoboy hasn't been seen since falling when in touch over a slightly longer trip here in January but Ruby Walsh still prefers him to last month's Market Rasen sixth Rebel Du Marquis. Havingotascoobydo is weighted to figure if his jumping holds up while Divers usually runs well here, though may need more help from the handicapper if he's to get back in the winner's enclosure. There should be more to come from Easter Meteor this season and Nadiya De La Vega is equally lightly-raced, while Triangular was strongly fancied for a handicap over the National fences in April only to be pulled up. Nigel Twiston-Davies has won this twice in the last five years so we'll stick with MAD MOOSE, who overcame several errors to win a novices' handicap here on his final start in the spring. He'll have plenty of schooling over the summer and clearly has the ability to make a name for himself over fences. Bobowen never seems to run a bad race but may just be in the handicapper's grip now.
