Verdict

An early qualifier for the final here next March with several making their seasonal reappearance. Theclockisticking ran well in a Listed handicap at Market Rasen last month, however, and was then fifth in a Grade 3 at Chepstow when starting favourite. Notwhatiam beat a subsequent winner at Uttoxeter earlier this month on his first run for Dan Skelton and Timeforben has been in good form over the summer. DAWN RAIDER has yet to win over 3m but has placed over the trip at Roscommon and Listowel since July. His trainer’s raiders here always warrant respect and he can end a frustrating sequence. Perfect Man is fancied to reverse Newton Abbot running with Timeforben on 8lb better terms and is another to consider but it’s a while since top weight Wait For Me got his head in front.
