Verdict

Defi Du Seuil and CHARLI PARCS are both owned by JP McManus and leading fancies for the Triumph Hurdle here in March. The former has won all four starts over hurdles, including two on this track and a Grade 1 at Chepstow last month. He’s clearly very useful but the latter is also held in high regard and may have more scope having had just the two runs. He easily gave weight and a beating to decent rivals at Kempton on his UK debut and his yard has won this in three of the last four years. The pair should dominate as Rainbow Dreamer has plenty to find if he’s to complete his hat-trick and French import Early Du Lemo is having his first run for Gary Moore. Siruh Du Lac has been well beaten in lesser company so far while Jazzy looks completely out of his depth.
