In depth

Verdict

THE NEPHEW has been ridden by Richie McLernon to his two recent victories and he keeps the ride on the very progressive five-year-old, who can defy a massive 14lb penalty. AP McCoy is on board Chestnut Ben, who appeared to enjoy the softer ground when successful at Fontwell and is 8lb higher. Red Rock came in for strong support on his reappearance at Plumpton but made a bad mistake early in the race which appeared to unsettle him. Julie Prince won easily at Huntingdon and started favourite at Stratford next time but ran poorly and needs to bounce back.
