In depth

Verdict

Petite Power has been steadily finding his form and has every chance on his latest second at Lingfield with Richard Patrick taking off a valuable 5lb. Tom Lacey’s string is firing on all cylinders and Kimberlite Candy would have every chance on his best form, though his jumping still leaves something to be desired. Knockanrawley is a stout stayer but has a few pounds to find with Midnight Monty on Sandown running. FOURTH ACT has never won over a trip this far but he’s been placed over 3m4f so stamina clearly isn’t an issue. He would have gone very close at Sandown last month had he not been hampered and that’s possibly the best piece of recent form on offer. Major Hindrance tries a new trip and steps up a grade so is probably worth opposing as he’s not always looked the most resolute.
