In depth

Verdict

Lady Valdean won on fast going at Bath earlier but was well beaten off today’s mark last time. Shamrokh has done all his winning on the all-weather so far but Essenaitch went close at Windsor on his latest start and Tyrolean could go well on only his second start for Dai Burchell. ATTEST is fit from hurdling and having gone close in soft ground at Nottingham when last seen in this code, Warren Greatrex’ charge may prove good enough today.
