In depth

Verdict

Madam Isshe and Ladydolly are usually thereabouts and have claims in a modest finale, as does top weight Spic 'n Span who broke his duck on turf at Bath last month. Best One's fourth at Bath on Wednesday was his best run for some time and he's one of several in this well treated on old form. But the lightly-raced GRIFFIN POINT appeared to run a lot better when dropped to this trip for first time here last month. That wasn't the toughest of heats, but neither is this and William Muir's filly gets a tentative vote today.
