    In depth

    Verdict

Alexanderthegreat has yet to show much in the way of ability but has been gelded ahead of his first run in a handicap. Others, however, make greater appeal including Colenso, who is equally unexposed, and Time To Perfection, who came up against a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver at Lingfield last time. The latter runs Final Rock in this but the Bath runner-up is not certain to appreciate a further step up in distance on breeding. GUARDIOLA has been placed in both starts in handicaps over a mile. He’s a half-brother to Banditry so the extra yardage here should be well within his range.
