Verdict

Wylde Magic was beaten seven lengths by GEORDIE DES CHAMPS at Aintree. Evan Williams' charge is 6lb better off here so should get closer but the top weight looks capable of completing his hat-trick before having his sights raised. Touch Kick has won a bumper and had a run at Aintree four weeks ago. He is bred for hurdling so is respected while Le Braye can only improve on his fifth at Ffos Las. Winning pointer Gustave Mahler landed bumpers at Aintree and Worcester in early summer and may have needed last month's run at Cheltenham – he looks the pick of the remainder.
