PUNCHING is taken to follow up on his recent all weather success at the expense of Desert Pride and Out Of Nothing. The selection scored at Southwell last time out and comes into this race looking well treated. Although his form on the all weather is better than his turf form he has run well in better races off a similar mark and if he can recapture his best form he is sure to go close. Desert Pride is only lightly raced, and although he is yet to get his head in front he has run well in defeat. He finished third on his seasonal reappearance at Kempton and can once again enter the frame. Out Of Nothing is a difficult horse to catch right. He did win at Ayr on his penultimate start breaking his maiden tag in the process but then disappointed at Southwell when sent back on the all weather and for that reason he should be treated with some caution.
