Verdict

This has been run eight times and no favourite has been successful. Gramercy almost caught Dominate over 6f on heavy going here last month and on today's revised terms and better ground should reverse the form with few problems. PERFECT ALCHEMY was having her first start since May when beating the odds-on Mia San Triple at Windsor last month. She looked to have improved that day and with just a 3lb rise to contend with can complete a quick double. Third-placed Sarangoo looks held but Seal Rock has bounced back to form and John Quinn's charge, a winner on soft going at Carlisle last month on his first start since arriving from Ireland, still looks on a very fair mark for a horse once rated 99 and has to be a major threat.
