A bumper winner, POPPY KAY got off the mark over hurdles at Uttoxeter last time. Further progress is expected from Philip Hobbs’ mare now handicapping and she’s preferred to Annie Alainn. The latter landed a hat-trick with last month’s success at Uttoxeter but is upped in class off a 9lb higher mark today. Shaama Grise has won over hurdles in France and should be noted on her debut for David Pipe’s yard while Bobble Boru scored over track and trip on November but is 11lb higher now having finished second at Leicester subsequently.
