Verdict

RUN TO MILAN beat subsequent Grade 2 winner Lalor at Wincanton only to lose the race in the stewards' room. He didn't perform as well behind the same rival at Aintree but is a full brother to winning hurdler and chaser City Supreme so should make a decent hurdler. The Last Day dead-heated in a Southwell bumper last season and could be another useful recruit. Mahlermade may be the pick of the remainder ahead of winning pointer The Crazed Moon.
