Verdict

Only one four-year-old has won this in the last nine years but NABHAN can improve the younger generation's strike rate if in the same mood as when making all at Newbury. Bennys King kept on for second behind The Gipper here last month but looks a chaser in the making. Bumper winner Mere Anarchy was third on his hurdling debut at Haydock and could benefit from the likely strong pace and makes more appeal than the likes of Sandgate and El Tiburon.
