      Verdict

      Dahl was last of seven on his debut at Newmarket and, though a likely improver, may find SHIPPING FORECAST too good here. Brian Meehan's colt was given a nice introduction over this distance at Ascot last month so looks the one to beat with Express taking a big step up in trip having shown limited ability over 5f. Newcomer Tawfik cost €50,000 but is stoutly bred and may do better next season.
