In depth

Verdict

The Snatcher gets the vote in the opener with Tous Les Deux and Salute Him rated as the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when defeating Desert Realm at Ripon. He looked like one to stay on the right side of that day and with this extra furlong in his favour he should take plenty of beating. Tous Les Deux is a likeable colt and he won well last time at Windsor when beating Scooby Dude over 5f. He is well-regarded by connections and it would be no surprise to see him go well, especially with the step-up to 6f very much in his favour. Salute Him has done little wrong in his two starts to date and he is certainly one who will win his fair share of races. However, the suspicion is that he may be better over further in time and for that reason we will take him on. Corrib won well on her debut when beating Multiple but she will have to improve again to get competitive here and in a competitive event we will stick with The Snatcher as our idea of the winner.
