Verdict

Silver Kate may not have beaten much at Hereford but she still commands respect as she won it well, Tataniano is sure to be a poor price because of his stable, and so it may pay to side with GREAT TUSKER ahead of Bushy Island. The market will help provide some clues, but Great Tusker looks one of the more interesting newcomers. His dam won a bumper and this well-related gelding could be capable of running a big race first time up. Song Sung Blue and Bushy Island look likely hurdles winners, but of more interest today could be Silver Kate. She will no doubt be crabbed for swishing her tail when winning at Hereford but it didn't stop her winning as she liked and she should not be overlooked just because she is not from one of the bigger yards. Tataniano is a point-to-point winner who could be up to winning on debut, whilst stablemate Pilgrims Lane makes his British debut but this former Irish pointer may need some more time and something to jump before he is winning. The Grifter and Moss Road have already shown that they have some ability.
