In depth

Verdict

Course and distance winner Asylo failed to cope under a penalty last time and Towcester runner-up Drumlee City may improve past him. Oliver's Island is another likely improver while point-to-point winners The Flame, Phoebus Lescribaa and Warthog make their respective debuts under Rules and could figure. But AMATEUR has gone close in both starts and, after a recent third at Musselburgh, John Flint’s four-year-old may prove good enough in this.
