Verdict

Gulland Rock has not won on Turf since 2014 but has scored three times at Wolverhampton since then including his latest start. Dandys Perier won this last year, his only win on Turf in 17 starts, but is 8lb higher today. The Reel Way was well beaten in last year’s renewal and fourth behind Ettie Hart at Brighton last month when Israfel finished fifth and Wild Flower clipped heels and unseated. The lightly raced Wishing Tree steps up in trip but GUAPO BAY won at Lingfield under today’s apprentice the last time she raced over 7f and Richard Hannon’s filly gets a token vote.
