Verdict

Wade Harper has been frustrating to follow but should be thereabouts again in a race like this. Mr Mafia and Thegreendalerocket were second and third in this last year and the former comes out best at the weights of that pair today. The evergreen Paddy The Oscar has won here in the past and went close off this mark at Bangor in June but Definitly Grey will need to take another step forward from his second at Worcester. BACCHANEL may be able to reverse Warwick running in February with Bassarabad, despite being a pound worse off as he improved on that effort when second at Exeter in March. Kings Cross looks best of the rest.
