In depth

Verdict

Minella Awards won twice in good company over hurdles last year and ran a cracker in a big field at Galway in August when only finding one too good. Enniscoffey Oscar won a Grade 2 contest in January over timber but both victories so far have come at Doncaster. DEBECE fell when last seen over hurdles at Haydock in May in a race in which Enniscoffey Oscar finished fifth. But he’s reportedly been schooling well over fences and he had very smart form over the smaller obstacles last year. Chameron failed to convince over fences at Exeter a year ago and hasn’t raced since but still has plenty of scope. Drinks Interval has already won twice but she has to give weight to some potentially smart recruits.
