Verdict

Delfie Lane has been thereabouts since winning at Chelmsford in March but is now 9lb higher while Arthurthedelegator has proved best over 7f so far and was runner-up over that distance at Carlisle last time. Bonjour Steve went close here recently but had earlier finished behind Indian Affair when the latter won over track and trip and also beat Kaaber, Divine Call and SHOWMETHEWAYAVRILO in the process. But Malcolm Saunders’ charge has subsequently posted a much better effort when placed at Goodwood and it could be his turn again today.
