In depth

Verdict

A trappy maiden here but as usual in these events the market will be all important but the main protagonists look to be Non Sucre, Our Chairman and Ochoa and the vote is given to Non Sucre. The selection was a fair third behind Gothenburg last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Our Chairman rates the main danger as he ran with promise on his debut in a better race and looks sure to improve. His yard are in form and he should be watched in the market. Ochoa hails from a yard that can ready a debutante and this well bred filly by Okawango will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Of the remainder Greystoke Prince hails from a yard in top form and could go well at a price but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Non Sucre.
