Plenty of deadwood in this but PAPA DELTA continues to improve and won over 6f at Lingfield last time. He’s proved best on the all-weather so far but has run well on Turf in the past and can race off a 2lb lower mark back on this surface. Pike Corner Cross makes less appeal on Turf given he’s had 13 previous attempts without success and Captain Sedgwick is preferred as he wasn’t beaten far despite finishing only fifth over today’s trip on his reappearance. Kafeel has tumbled down the weights and is partnered by talented apprentice Cieren Fallon on only his second start for new connections.
