In depth

Verdict

CHIPS O'TOOLE is improving with race experience and gets the vote to break his maiden tag at the third attempt with both Secret Millionaire and Tatawor worthy of mention. The selection finished third on his debut at Bath and improved on that to finish second behind Quadrille in a better race at Newbury thereafter. He looks a horse with a bright future and is worth staying on the right side of for the time being. Secret Millionaire caught the eye on his debut finishing second of 12 but was a beaten favourite on his next run at Thirsk. He was not discredited that day and another good run can be expected. Tatawor showed improvement from his debut to finish third of eight at Lingfield. It is obvious that he is no world beater and may do better once in a handicap. Chips O'Toole looks the pick on paper and takes preference.
