Verdict

COCKTAILS AT DAWN won in a canter at Kempton six days ago and a penalty is unlikely to prevent a follow-up for Nicky Henderson's lightly-raced novice who was thought good enough to take his chance in the Neptune Investment Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham last month. Shammick Boy won off a higher mark at Chepstow in the autumn but lacks the scope of the selection, as does Radmores Revenge. Lava Lamp is potentially well treated but has been out of sorts but the four-year-old Refer could make the frame as he's returned from his winter break in good form.
